Dear MRSEC EXPO Volunteers:

During EXPO, the Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC) on Nanostructured Materials and Interfaces puts on a big "Exploring the Nanoworld" exhibit. Thank you for volunteering to help us explain these demonstrations to the public.

We have several videos posted here to assit you in preparing for your shift.

We have an Introduction to Expo which descirbes what Engineering Expo is and the MRSEC's nad NSEC's role in it.  There is also a video overview of the activities which demonstrates one of the activities and discusses approcahes to use in leading the activities and the visual and written aids available to you.

This year, our exhibit will include activities on the topics shown below. We have also made volunteering easier this year by providing Activity Guides for each topic that explain how to give a particular demonstration - links given below.  Please read these guides prior to the event.

Please email Ken Lux at lux@engr.wisc.edu to volunteer for one or more 2-hour exhibit slots during the April 14th - 16th (Thurs. - Sat.) EXPO days.

Thanks from MRSEC Interdisciplinary Education Group!
